Composit Caliper Development

The caliper is one of car parts, which creates the friction force by pushing brake pads on the brake disk and brakes a car. Because deformation caused by hydraulic axial load of brake pads can reduce the brake performance, it is important to keep the sufficient stiffness. From this project the composite material applied caliper is being developed to enhance the stiffness and to reduce weight of the caliper.
