BusinessHydrogen Fuel Cell

PEMFC (Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell, Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell)

- Electrolyte : water-based, acidic polymer membrane
- Using platinum-based catalyst on both electrodes
- Use hydrogen as fuel
- Operating at relatively low temperatures (below 100°C)
- Possibly operating at up to 200°C by using modified inorganic acid electrolyte
- High power density, compact and lightweight, suitable for transportation

DMFC (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell)

- Using platinum-ruthenium and platinum catalyst
- Use methanol directly as fuel
- Compact in size by using liquid fuel
- Simple fuel storage system with liquid fuel
- High power density compared to battery system
- Operating temperature range : from 60°C to 130°C
